Alright, where did I leave off. Oh yes, my camper dream. My dream this past summer was to downsize and move into a camper. My heart was set on this in the WORST way. All was going well, when my dad told me I could use my uncles old camper. Boo. So, my cousin offered her sons Rv, which I took. I didnt have a choice, I couldnt have the camper, and every camper I found was to expensive, or trashed. My family didnt get the RV moved up to the house until September. I spent everyday cleaning, scrubbing, vacuuming, organizing, stuffing, and making it mine. Then my fall vacation happened.
The third week of October, I went on vacation to Oklahoma to chill with my Beetle friends. Then when I got back, winter had its foot in the door, and my home wasnt even where it was supposed to be. Frowney Face. Then one day my uncle came into TJ's to order some tacos, and he told me about an empty mobile home in the trailer court he live in, about three and a half blocks from work. I was initially leary of the idea of living there.
That trailer part is know as "Mexican Village" in my town. There are about 30 trailers, and most of them are inhabited by Mexicans. Anyway, I thought anywhere is better than an unprepared camper in winter. So, I called and checked on it. We met that day, he undid the 2x4 over the front door and let me in. The first thing I noticed was the heavy musty smell in the air, coming to find out the trailer had been empty and locked up for about 6 months. Then I noticed the MESS. Woah, the mess in this place. Looked as though the owner had just poofed. Took me about a week to remove the garbage and the personal effects from the place. Then was the cleaning part, as the couch was covered in mildew and there was mold on the ceilings! I had it all cleaned up, and moved in the second weekend of November. Then, problems started.
The conditions of me moving in was to fix the ceiling in the kitchen, and the bathroom wall/tub surround. I was fine with that. Also, I had discovered that my hot water heater, had a leak. I contacted my landlord, and they offered to fix it. I had also noticed I had no water to my kitchen, come to find the plumbing was cut to the kitchen. :( This began a two month long waiting game for the plumber to show up.
Finally at the end of January a plumber finally took on the job. And has had to do A LOT to fix my water. All this is leading up to a partial bathroom remodel of a 50 year old mobile home! Sweet, as long as I dont have to pay for it!
I anxiously await spring, to plant flowers, and the such around my trailer.
Til next time, Im outie!

The first couple days.
Tonight marks the second night away from my apartment, and first full day. I have this overwhelming feeling that I messed up. That I am doomed for failure. That my plan I spent months on, fine tuning, making perfect, will fail. Miserably.
So far, feelings aside, all has been going well. I haven't settled into my camper yet, but I will be soon. My parents have put me up on the couch for the time being. It is the least they can do, since my father decided he didn't trust the camper I was supposed to use!!
Anyway, it was a great day. Went to work for three hours, then I went hot tubing, and swimming with my bestie and her husband. Filled up the gas tank, and got a car wash. Not quite sure why I bought a car wash, my car was recovered with bugs on the drive home. Ha.
It is a great change. I get satellite TV and decent Internet for the time being.
I should have my new home set up in a couple days. Fingers crossed. Will post pictures!

A new beginning....
Ever since my girlfriend and I broke up back in July 2008, my life felt, meaningless. Empty. Devoid of something. I tried to fill it with stuff. All my money was going to buying things. Stuff I didn't need. That winter I got laid off from my manufacturing position. I went making $12.20 an hour full time to $7.25.... five hours a week. I became helpless, so I allowed my best friend, her boyfriend, and her daughter move into my house. Thinking that the more I had in my home, the better I would feel. Nope.
The fall of 2009 I moved out of my home, which was in the middle of foreclosure, and into my friends apartment, which she no longer lived in. I felt at home there. I cant recall the last time I felt comfortable. I continued to live there until the lease was up at the end of May 2010. From there I moved to my parents.
My parents live in a small 2 bedroom mobile home. After my brother flew the coop, my mom moved into my old bedroom. My parents, knowing this, posed a problem; where was I going to live? The answer was right in their backyard.
My cousin had inherited an old 70's RV from his aunt. Being he still lived at home, and didn't have anyplace to store it, he parked it out at mom and dads. This RV was great inside. Arnie, my cousins aunt, kept very good care of it. It had the typical shower/toilet bathroom, a twin bed at the back, two place sink, stove.oven... I was skeptical. I have never been in a camper for more than 2 nights over the fourth of July weekend. I spent a good three days cleaning it, top to bottom. It hadn't been lived in or used in almost 6 years. This change had been the best summer I ever recall. I lived in the RV for five months, until the weather started to get colder, and my mother started to worry. I had to find an apartment.
I hate calling people. I don't know why, I just do. So I had my best friend Susan do all my calling. She called about a dozen places. Only about three called back. One, was a dump. An OVERPRICED dump. The other wouldn't even consider me because I didn't make enough. And the third was income based, and we scheduled an interview. We sat down, and got to know each other, and then she handed me the keys. I moved in the next day, the first of November. I loved my apartment. I had just enough to fill it, but not over flow it. Then that spring my dog Peanut ran away from his dog sitter, who didn't tell me he was taken to the pound until it was to late. My life started to unfold, bit by bit. Still single I lost my only companion. I had him since birth. :(
All was well at my apartment. The other tenants loved me, we were all so nice to each other, held holiday dinners in the day room. It was nice. That is until the owner passed away from cancer. It was decided by the family that they would sell our apartment to a management company. That is when I started to HATE my apartment. Sue, our caretaker was great. She would come visit us, just to chat. But these new people, haven't shown their face her once. They sent out letters announcing the takeover, and lease changes, but never came around. My life was already stressed, and overly complex without all this. So, I decided I must simplify my life, and get happy again. It was also about this time that I bought my 2002 Volkswagen New Beetle, named N00ber.
N00ber had taken me places I could only dream about going. He has made me happy. He has given me the opportunity to have friends. To get out of town. And, I feel it was him that guided me to the biggest decision I have ever made. To move into a camper, and live in it full time. I have never researched a subject more, than this, and I feel like this will be something I can do.
With that said, I have 35 hours left in my apartment. All but one truck load has been taken out. Am I nervous? I would be lying if I said no. Will I make it, living in a camper? I don't know. A new chapter starts soon!
Stay tuned. :)

#proudtolove
Four years ago and three months ago, I came out of the proverbial closet. I was sick and tired of holding myself back. Keeping my true self from showing my true colors. And not allowing me to be myself.
Back in sixth grade I noticed something different about myself. I was finding myself more attracted to some male classmates. I wasnt sure why I was finding myself attracted to them. All I knew was I was supposed to like girls, not boys. So played the normal game to maintain the status quo. I told myself I was supposed to like girls.
Back in the the first quarter of sixth grade I got my first note from a girl. Her name was Heather. She pretty much through it at me while I was standing at my locker. I had no idea what was going on. Then one day I found a box at the foot of my locker. In it was a ceramic heart shaped container with a neck lace made of cement nails and leather in a cross shape, and some other things. We passed notes back and forth for the first half of the year. Then I switched to a different area for the second half, and we stopped talking.
I dont recall having feelings for Heather. I remember liking her as a friend, but nothing more. Later on that year, while I was trying to go for girls, as I was told I was supposed to like, I noticed a classmate that was 2 grades ahead of me. His name was Casey. I remember being attracted to him. He was good looking, and had a good sense of humor, and all around good guy. Then, while in gym I found myself noticing my male classmates. Like their legs, and chest.
Fast forward about 2 years. Once again in gym class, I used to skip showers and hurry to change just so I could pay attention to some of my classmates. Like, one time back in ninth grade. we had just go done swimming. I was changing, and I looked over to watch some class mates fooling around and towel whipping each other. I remember turning around to see what was up and seen a class mates penis peep out of his boxers. I also made up an excuse to watch some change. Ooohhhh. lol
Regardless the fact I was finding myself more and more attracted to men, I was pursuing girls. I was calling every girl girl friend, and trying to get a girlfriend. Mostly because I was unsure of who I was. I would semi-actively pursue these girls while lusting over their gorgeous boyfriends. I was confused. It was about this time when I got my first computer, and internet access. I was surfing gay chat rooms, viewing gay pictures, and other stuff. I knew something was up, but I either didn't know, or I was just to scared to be bullied more than I already was. Seemed like keeping it all to myself was the best route; but thats another blog.
So I, being confused and unsure about myself, met this amazing woman, Holly. She was the most amazing thing I have ever met. She was kind, caring, and smart. She had everything going for her. We met in the summer of 2006. She was working at Cenex, and I at Subway. We seen each other for a couple weeks, and we moved in together. We started going out, and then moved to the same bed room. We never kissed, or had sex. I just didn't have the attraction to her. It was also about this time I discovered gay porn, which I kept hidden away. I didn't want to break her heart, so instead of telling her, I hid it.
We dated, and slept together for 2 years. I had just bought a house, we were talking marriage, amongst other things. One night, I had come home from work. My secret was out. For the third time. There wasnt anyway of getting out of this one. That day was the worst day of my life. I turned into a monster. I did things to her, said things to her that I never thought I would say or do to anyone. I even became violent and injured her. I was so sad to lose the one person I loved, more than anything in the world, I snapped. That week, between the break up, and the final good bye was nasty. By the final day, I had the police department at the house because I didn't feel comfortable with her brother being there. At the end of the day, we had made up, apologies were given and we didn't hate each other anymore.
Six months later I was laid off from the manufacturing job I was at. I quickly found a new job, thanks to my best friend. I was fired two months later. I spent that whole week at the bar. I was so depressed, I didnt know what to do. It was then in a drunk rage I came out of the closet to all my friends on facebook. I also texted my mother, about it. She said she had already known.
The next summer I met Aaron. He initially came off as a homophobe, but then found out he liked me. We talked back and fourth. We wanted to do things together, but he always had to bring a girl with. One night we were drunk and sad, we went to Walmart to get some essentials, and fooled around. I remember that night vividly. It was the first night I ever done anything with anyone, even making out... He was too busy texting girls to focus on me, so I gave up. A couple months went by and he made his departure from my life.
I have been single since....
